Also: oh. imadeathing is meant to be read as "I made a thing". That makes so much more sense than "I'm a deathing", which is how I kept reading it on twitter...

That is so so so pretty! I adore the wingspan-thingy. I really wish I could make scarves and shawls, especially now that our flat is so damn cold, but for now I've stuck to mittens and socks and those woolen Christmas balls you made fun of (I only re-taught myself how to knit a couple of years ago). :) Seriously, though, I've been in a sort of knitting frenzy, mostly to avoid schoolwork, and I'm running out of loved ones to knit for, or rather they're running out of hands and feet.

Haha, I know what you mean - I had to learn to knit properly once I'd made everyone I knew a scarf. :P This seriously wasn't that difficult, though! A bit fiddly, but no more than knitting and the odd yarn over. It was really lumpy before I blocked it, too. :D
