Silent Hill (no real spoilers)

went and saw Silent Hill yesterday afternoon. it was pretty cool. it wasn't as nerve-wracking as the games, but i think it's mostly because you don't have the sensation of being as closely responsible for what happens as you do when you're playing the game. also, they didn't use as much of the industrial sounds for the monsters (like in SH3) as

damn, that sounds pretty cool! I really want to go see it now! i just... have no money! not till friday anyway...

god, i need to buy the SH3 soundtrack, or get it from Molly.... either way, it makes me really happy to know that they have music from the games.

yesh, do see it! though go to matinee, because seeing it after dark may give you the willies.

Thanks for the great review! I still can't gather up the courage to go near the game again, but I'll give the movie a go when it comes out on DVD.
