I'm watching a LJ knitting community and I never knew knitting could be so complicated. There's more to it than knit one, purl one. And the jargon!! Frog, Jog!!! It's like learning a whole other language. I'm almost too scared to knit and feel like I need a personal tutuor!

Aren't there knitting circles? There's prolly a knitting comm on LJ. You should look it up. They'll help out.

I always wanted to learn crochet (did I say that out loud ?!) but crotchet is even more complicated than knitting.
I was always amazed watching my great grandma as a kid,she would natter away for hours with her hands click clacking and by tea time have crotcheted or knitted a bed spread!I think I need to master knit one purl one and do it QUICKER than one row a fortnight before I join a knitting circle !Good luck

Probably too young for a knitting circle, I think you have to be at least 80 ;)
