Year end list, six years and counting. To get it out of the way before we start: I have terrible taste and I mainline pop culture. Don't let any of the length explanations below confuse you: I really only just know what I like, and sometimes I'm able to offer some reasons why I do. By no means is anything I say below the be all and end all

I'm seeing HP today (I know, late me is late, eh?) but I am pumped. My friend works in gold class, has seen it a gazillion times and disses it but my other friend loved it so I am torn. That tear will be mended in a few hours. Got a feeling I'm going to love the hell out of it though.

Inception: You've pinpointed exactly what I didn't like about that film! It was a brilliant concept; I enjoyed the whole is-it-real? thing and the various theories the film spawned but so much time was dedicated to the dreamscape instead of character development that I didn't care much for Cobb's angst. I liked The Prestige a lot more.

Animals: So effing catchy. My brother and his mate do an acoustic version. I heard them practising and their version got stuck in my head then I was in a video game store and the actual song came over the speakers and I was all, "Whaaaaat?" But I love it! (...Which reminds me to steal the album off his computer.)
