Nevermind the fact that lesbian couples are twice as capable of having children. I love procreation as the excuse... maybe we could pass a bill requiring all straight couples to reproduce within two years of their marriage, or else have their marriage nullified. Or maybe they'll let you get married if you promise to knock up a bunch of lesbians on a regular basis, just to keep the consumer base level. It's obviously all in the best interest of children.

(P.S: It's really too bad they didn't take lesbian biology into account... if it were strictly a no-all-male-families ruling, we'd be able to see a bunch of protest signs saying, "No uterus? No way!")

With that last line, you took the words right out of my mouth. With this logic, they should also start refusing to allow infertile couples to adopt, because, obviously, if you're biologically incapable of having children, you are also incapable of raising children. Not to mention the fact that marriage is so far removed from child-rearing these days that this ruling almost sounds quaint.

It really does. Though to me it sounds more like grasping at straws to keep from making a ruling that you know is the morally correct one.

I think the back of the shirt should say, "PETFWO," which obviously stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Fertile Women Only. The tagline could be, "Be barefoot and pregnant, or be single."

I might almost wear one. =P

I was looking for uterus images you could use on the tshirt, because why would I be working, and what I found was a uterus shaped coffin. Go figure.

A) Thank you, and I think that's an excellent revenge.
B) Yes, it is true. I'll be out there sometime around 9 PM on the 18th of Aug, and will crash for the night at Steph's. So of course, we should do something exciting that night. I think my family won't appear in the city until late on Sat., so I guess we'll have much of that day as well. Hooray!
