Chillin...
Where am I?
Presently in a public library where my sis-in-law and my niece do volunteer work during the summer. Quiet, H*U*G*E, air-conditioned and internet connected up the wazoo(!!!) - we are talking over 200 public access terminals all over the place. Not to mention a starbucks with a cyber-cafe.
Been a great week of hanging out, chillin, drawin and relaxin with fam.
The weather has been steady, but we did have a minor hurricane scare Wednesday. Sideways rain and hail with minor flooding as the drainage system tried to keep up. Unfortunately we were eating out at a Persian restaurant at the time. It was so bad one of the servers who wanted to check on her car couldn't open the front door because of the wind!
The next day I shopped for prezzies for friends, visted a B&N and an art store (got manga paper yay!).
Too bad about Akon, but with you brother has only 1 van and 4 kids to occupy, borrowing it is out of the question - not to mention Dallas is 3 hours out and definitely last-minute.
On top of that (if that wasn't limiting enough) the van refused to stay in idle this morning ([clik!] Vroooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... * [silence])... man, if that is not a sign from god I have no idea what is
Still wanting to see Pirates with the adults (the kids already saw it last week) but things are looking bleak for the weekend.
My only *indulgence* tonight is sum Fudruckers if we are lucky...
Will be back in Toronto Sunday night around 11-midnight... just in time for me to go to bed and work Monday... LOL!
