Urgh... January came and went and I didn't manage to get any book posts up? Which means I'm now - let me check - five books behind. Swell. Okay, then, let's just get this out of the way now. And thanks, capfox, for reminding me.

Man, I'm so behind on reading for this year. Stupid Disgaea. I don't know if I'm ever going to catch up.

How did you like After Dark in the end? And the Murakami memoir?

After Dark was pretty good. The characters were a little bit different from the established Murakami archetypes. A little. It was a neat little story, but it didn't have an ending. In fact, it didn't really have a climax. It kind of just... stopped.

The memoir was pretty inspiring. I read it at a really appropriate time - when I was trying to finish up my soon-to-be-late L2 term paper.
