Expensive Hobbies

Let's say, hypothetically that I enjoy the maddening pain in the ass that is assembling a computer from parts. Let's also say that my current working desktop is starting to show signs of Windows Rot and could at the very least use a clean install. That looks like a solid build. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the ease of setup and maintenance for the liquid cooling if you use it.

Between this and the homemade multitouch Surface-clone someone made, I'm strongly inspired to put together something new. Waiting for Windows 7 does seem like the most cost-effective option though.

Actually, at the last minute I decided to hold off on liquid cooling. There was a combo deal on NewEgg with the power supply I wanted and a case with an absurd number of fans. Since I'm not so into this as the "enthusiasts" at Tech Report, I suspect decent air flow will probably treat me nice. Besides a $100 case on sale for $50 is way cheaper than a $50 case with a $200 cooling system installed.
