Today we had a high temperature of 5F. Tomorrow the predicted high is 25F. If we convert these into an absolute temperature scale, today reached 258.15 K and tomorrow's predicted high temperature will be 269.26 K. I could say that the temperature will increase by four percent (4%) tomorrow and it would have some kind of physical meaning! >:-O

I've decided I'm going to try to read all of the James Tiptree Award winning novels since the award began in 1991. If presented with any clear opportunities to do so I will also read any novels which have been on the award shortlist. If anyone has any of these books available for trade, sale, or loan let me know.
