Ugh...alcohol and Ed
Alcoholism is such a devastating disease. While Ed only drinks once a week (Friday nights)...he drinks A LOT...this weekend we have a small group meeting with a Bible study, where there will be social drinking. frustrated!
It's been forever since I've actually been using LJ and I decided to get some "paid" time and get some of the additioal user pix that I used to have when I paid for it...but now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a "paid account" ... something about not being able to pay for an "identity" account...WTH...I used to be able to go and " ( Read more... ) -

missing my sister...already!
Geez...it's been forever since I've used LiveJournal...FB is so much easier and quicker. My sister Sharon passed away on Christmas Eve day at 6:00 a.m. or so...the nurse checked on her and went back 1/2 hour later and she was gone. HAPPYANNIVERSARY ED!
5 years ago today I was up at this time.....yep about 4:30 a.m. getting ready to head down to Barnes-Jewish Hospital (big Barnes, for the STL peeps) for Ed's esophageal cancer surgery. Don and Rowena Charles picked us up so they could spend the day with me (8+ hour surgery) and my friends Gayla and Kelley Barazzini also were there throughout most ( Read more... )
