Yep- raw food for cats. That's what they'd eat in the wild, though of course this version is a step removed from wormy rodents and lice-y birds. We got started thinking about this because of friends who have an organic farm who feed their pets only raw food from their farm. All of their pets are in amazing health

We have quite few mallards in the brook behind the house. Since we are in a relatively congested area I couldn't figure out what was attracting them. Turns out the brook is fed from a flood control resevoir which every spring is stocked with little fishies.
"..and they swam, and they swam all over the dam..."
So the mallards fly up the creek to the dam and have a sort of 3 mile floating smorgasbord all the way down to where the brook joins the river. And then they fly up the creek again. Sort of a lather, rinse, repeat thing.
