That was lovely. I lost a lifelong companion cat more than a year ago. It seems like yesterday. You did well.

My condolences on your loss. I know a year sounds like a long time to some people but it's not very long at all, is it?

She's gone but not forgotten! We were so lucky to know her even for the short time we did. And I sleep well at night knowing that one old homeless being had a happy, peaceful and safe ending surrounded by people who loved and respected her. I hope we are ALL so lucky!
