That's okay. I went out today festooned in my extremely purple new leggings... and I was allllll alone in my purple finery. Well, these sorts of things are kind of silly, really. But I still enjoyed wearing my new leggings.
Still, you could use some purple in your wardrobe, if nothing more than a pair of socks.
The problem I run into is, I never heard of this. There's a Purple Day in March for epilepsy awareness, and they were touting purple ties on the news last night in support of cancer awareness (as pink is officially breast cancer specific, I guess). There just aren't enough colors to go around :)
Well, when I went out yesterday I think I was the only person wearing purple- and that's in Seattle where it's almost an official part of the city color scheme due to one of the local sports teams (no, I don't know which one) having it as part of their colors. Other people reported high incidences of purple wearing- but it might have been because it's a pretty color or just coincidence. Interesting that purple is now being connected officially with cancer and not lgbt bullying awareness.
Not enough colors to go around... and I'd never wear pink no matter what the cause! I'm a color-ist I guess. :)
