phew!! i'm going to go back and bold the ones you REALLY REALLY REALLY must watch...ps, i have all of these if you ever want to borrow one =)
I approve of your list greatly. Especially Garden State, Piece of April, Citizen Kane, and Newsies.
Those are like my top movies.... evar.
Anyway, Amelie and Love Actually are up there too but you have those on facebook.
I <3 Huckabees is good, the Royal Tennanbaums is pretty good, but they're in the same genre...ish Donnie Darko is creepy, but classic, or neo-classic or whatever it is.
Those are a good start in my book and you'll be that much cooler if you see them and if you need a movie buddy, I'll be there for you!

soooo people mentioned a few that I would have said(and, if I repeat, I'm sorry; I'm trying not to), but I'd like to add (in no particular order): life as a house good will hunting this is spinal tap the rocky horror picture show pretty and pink and the breakfast club (not just sixteen candles) almost famous high fidelity office space my fair lady (one of my favorites, but others may disagree. . .it's another good audrey hepburn) saved! outside providence the princess bride vanilla sky
plus pretty much anything johnny depp because I believe he can do no wrong.
and that should be a good start. I also say to watch pretty much everything your other friends have suggested, especially: garden state say anything crash I ♥ Huckabees Donnie Darko eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

and PS: I saw Garden State and it was FANTASTIC! Same with A Beautiful Mind and Eternal Sunshine. Isn't Seven supposed to be scary though?
Steph + Scary = a bad idea (ex. In Cold Blood)
