late to the part by 5 years, i'm sorry. eames/robert was my immediate otp when i first saw the film in theaters and now that i'm rediscovering the fandom, i'm finding all of these fantastic fics omfg. i know it says crack on the label but it's been accepted as official post-inception canon. i absolutely love this fic, i love robert's characterization (i love the idea that he's a bit of, well, a useless but attractive kitten. it brings back memories of me shaking my head at how robert has a finger on the trigger of his gun while climbing out of a grate, like son.....thats not how you hold a gun), i love eames' characterization, i love the ending. i love the slow-yet-not-slow build, i love spoiled lil rich boy being taken care of big military man, i love the humor. i love you
