I think for the most part that everyone is unhappy in some aspect if not most of their work and again for the most part people tend to be willing to compromise.

You seem willing to compromise on the happiness in the workplace because it helps you reach the goal of owning your home, once that is achieved what is there to hold you back from starting something new?

What is stopping you now but the fear of consequence?

In regards to children...

It may not seem it but we reach a similar situation now that we have three of our own, do we want more and if so what right do we have to production of our own children when the opportunity to adopt/foster a child who already lives, breathes, needs is waiting for a family?
