Not that I'm glad there's a funeral on, but I am glad that the government was closed today. While I still had to go to work, I shaved about 50 minutes (!) off my commute time since I didn't have to fight the government going into the city. Woot! Maybe I'll even get to leave here early today... eh, probably not. ;)

I started to watch the Funeral this morning, but I had to leave for (and am currently at) work. Wheels keep on turnin' even on a day like today. Ah well. I have respect and have taken the time to be Patriotic or what have you.

I still can't help but think how would-be terrorists would have loved a piece of that action though...think of it: all those high-powered leaders in one place. Scary.
