I would like you all to give me your answers to this question. In your opinion, when did time start? Was it when the world was created, or was it when man created the concept?
Time could have been there before the world was created. Time is merely a vehicle by which things move through the other spatial dimensions (length height and width), but before the world was created, if you believe in the big bang theory, there was just a big dense ball of stuff and it was pretty much point A to point A. Or, because it was a big dense ball of stuff in which nothing was moving through it, did time not exist? So I guess, time either exists outside the universe, or as a measurement invented by man, it exists only within the universe.
So, uh, what is time? I think time is, as Thundercles would say in the Brak Show, "Time is an abstract concept created by carbon-based life forms to monitor their own ongoing decay."
Well, forgive me if this is muddled, as physics isn't exactly my strongest area of interest, but I've never let ignorance stop me before, so here goes
( ... )
time is a concept we lead ourselves to believe in. time did not exsist until we wanted it to. and i mean, whose to say that our perception of time and space or even depth perception is completely accurate? we are. which basically is a never ending cycle of humanity lying to itself to question its lies and come up with new ones. and waht are these lies you ask? that there are twenty four hours in a day,365 in a year, endless theories of how everything started. but what if it hasnt started yet. what if the endless history of all exsistance of any kind really isnt the beginning of time. or even time for that matter. what if time has not even begun yet, and we're just lying to ourselves that we are already there, when really it has yet to come. sorry star but im starting to confuse myself where im going with this, but theres your answer!
