I'm sure the readers here are more than familiar with this theme, but I've been feeling overwhelmed lately. By the future. I know what I want to do, and I think I can do it (though that worry's there too). It's how to go about it. here's my two cents: the only reason why I was able to go to grad school right after graduation was because my parents were willing to pay most of the fee. I took out a bunch of loans as well that I will be paying off for some time to come. If they weren't willing and able I would still be saving up to go. If you can, squeeze as much money as possible out of the school in the form of scholarship/grant $, etc.

My Teri loan covered my entire tuition and some of my living expenses. It could have covered all of my living expenses, but I stupidly thought I could save up enough (I'm a slacker and hate to have a job), so I didn't ask for a larger amount. I'm just lucky that I'm going to get a large tax rebate, and my mom might sell one of our cars and send me some money. Point is that being poor didn't stop me. Saving money is good, but I'm willing to have some debt if it means I can start working on my career right now.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I don't do something right away, it never gets done at all. I rushed my application to VFS because I knew if I waited, I would never take that step. There would always be one more thing I had to get done before I could move on.

Best of luck getting it all figured out. I think you would really love it up here, but you've got to do what's right for you.

Also, Malcolm McDowell for the win. Heroes amazes me with its awesome casting choices.
