Well, well, well! I'm back from a few months away from home! *lol*
I was living in Londrina since June, but now I'm back living in Sorocaba because I'll start on a new job next week. I'll be working in São Paulo city, actually, so I'll have to travel to and from the city every day. I think it's better than actually living in São Paulo, though. We'll see how that goes with time.
This time, things are more permanent, and I'm quite happy with this aspect of the job. I'm also back to my field of expertise: materials engineering. I still don't know much of what I'll be doing there, just that it involves polymers, research, and submarines. Oh, and mariners. ;0P It's a job inside the Navy, although I haven't joined the military service. Exciting! *lol*
On other news, chaotic life is keeping me from writing as much as I'd like. I'm trying NaNoWriMo, but it's a long shot. Since yesterday, I'm actually back writing "Not Only a Granger" instead of my original fiction, and it's a good thing.
Chapter 33 is waiting me finish chapter 34. Chapter 34 should have been the last chapter, but it grew into too many words, so I'll split it into (hopefully) two chapters. I wonder if it isn't time to post chapter 33, then. You know, every alpha and beta-reader I sent the chapter agreed that I should wait until the next one was ready before posting it. It is a good thing, I guess. *waits some more*
Original fiction is giving my muse a headache. I found out that I don't know my characters very well. I thought I'd get to know them as I wrote, but it's harder than it seems. People at NaNoWriMo says any progress is good progress. I'm still not quite sure I understand that. We'll see...
Oh, and I'm at the
