I've got to say, this "Do not buy a single book" phrase really bothers me, as an aspiring author and a librarian. I am going to buy books, music, and movies. It is part of my job. And people should consider the artists, as well as the corporations.

In other words, I think that, though these two acts are way overbroad and need to be stopped, the issue is a bit more complicated than people think it is.
