Ok, It's barely June and I woke up this morning to a temperature of 80 degrees!!!! Blech
Ok, here's the apology. I'm sorry that I've been away again. The house remodel is a mountain that started as a mole hill, and is still growing! I also took a temporary transfer at work that again turned out to be a mountain, and not the mole hill they told me it would be. The transfer is for 12 weeks to cover for a friend who'll be on a leave of absence while her son has surgery, and then 4 weeks later she's having surgery herself. See, I'm such a nice person that nobody has the chance to fuck me over before I can do it to myself!!!
I amd watching BSG and lurking when I can, but times like this when I have 5 minutes to myself are way few and far between as of late.
I'm bummed that we're almost back in the time out chair and will have to sit there until next JANUARY (Grrrrrrrr) but I'll do what I did last helliatus, and immerse myself in really good fanfic. *grin*
I'm also still lurking around the Blood Ties verse. I sent in my donation, and vote when I have the time. I'm reaaaaaaallllly looking forward to Jump Con in July. I get to see and eat Kyle. Oh, I mean eat with. LOL And Mary and Eddie from BSG. Hopefully, Eddie will be in a giving mood and let slip the goods on the second half of the season. ;)
Then it's back to work for a few weeks and off the Dragon Con!! This I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly excited about. My traveling companions for both cons are my internet family, and seeing them is going to be the best!
I can hear the bickering from the other room already, (my children's way of letting me know my 5 minutes are up) so I got to go.
I'll try and get caught up with my FB and comments this week.
