Eventually my mother found me, as I was smuggling out suitcases with my new husband. She demanded I leave, and I left anyway, fleeing to Jaedin's parent's-now my parents in-law-house, and we ended up living there.
Jaedin got a job, I got a job, and we both worked until we could afford a small house, which we moved into shortly after. His parents helped, though, and I have no idea whether we'd be able to make it without them.
A small house with white trim and yellow siding became our new bungalow. It had acerage, and we bought horses after a bit of saving. Lots of flowers and some small decorative pieces and it looked like a home from the outside.
Now, two years from when we were married, we have four horses, one of them being Ecstasy. We've added a dog, a cat, and a few fish.
Most importantly, after many adoption papers and two years, we have a daughter. She's nine now, and she's warming up to people, showing us she loves animals and is responsible enough for one.
Jaedin and I have spent many days sitting on the couch, watching Hope walk out to the bus, talking about days prior to this, and even shedding a tear or two. Isn't that what love is though? Does it really matter?

I run away from things. It’s how I cope. I’ve always been shattered, but I haven’t yet figured out yet by what. Maybe it’s because my father seems to feed off of my sadness. Possibly because my mother thinks I’m psycho, and I’ve started to believe it.
I’ve always been a loner; a spectator. I’ve never tried to make friends, and had one at the time, but she blew me off a lot. Being alone has given me a lot of time to ponder my thoughts. Being alone has given me the opportunity to observe people more closely, be able to figure them out quickly.
Who would’ve thought that, when my parents got divorced, that I, of all people--bull-headed, sarcastic, and witty--would change?
