It has been raining steadily since like 7 pm last night.  I heard it raining hard overnight as well as lots of wind.  This morning, 9ish, I made the decision to stay home half because I didn't think it was worth battling this downpouring rain and heavy wind for 6 hrs of work, when I can put in a half a day at home anyway.  I just looked at the

When I go to the drugstore I'll look for that one. I got the Rite Aid quick Read digital thermometer with 5 second reading, and flexible tip. I should have tried ours again after we got home to see if I would get a reading (or try on a diff ferret for comparison) but of course I wasn't thinking.
