For those of you who begged and begged, I have finally finished not one but TWO sequels to As Seen On TV. Remember that one? Michael becomes obsessed with Jensen after watching an episode of Supernatural. Ah, I love crossing over fake people with real people. Have you given up on NaNoWriMo this year?

Yes, it has terrible timing. Unfortunately, Prison Break ate up my brain again. NaNoWriMo really needs to happen in June or something. Summertime.

Last year's attempt? I got only so far, and then guess what? I picked up with that story again just a few months ago, and I was really into it again, writing over a thousand words a night. So, this doesn't mean I've given up hope on my idea. But I guess NaNoWriMo is too confining for me. And in a bad month. Perhaps I'll get back to The Sleuthing Team again some other time. And that's really what it's all about, right? Getting the ideas flowing and exercising your brain. You can always come back to things later. I usually do. That's just how my brain works. I start things and then stop, and then I pick them up again months, maybe even years later.

But I've also realized throughout all this that writing is probably more of a hobby for me than something I will ever be able to make a career out of. But that's okay.

That makes sense. Hey, you're writing. And that alone is cool.

You know, NaNoWriMo used to be in July. But they moved it to November for some reason God only knows. We should petition them to move it back.

Yes, I would love it if NaNoWriMo were in July! I can't imagine why they moved it. November seems like a strange time to be holding National Novel Writing Month.
