Sweet. I want to buy a huge bulliton board, a map of the US, and a ton of map tacks. Then I'll keep track of you on a map wherever you go.

*rereads what she wrote, realizes it's kinda creepy* But I don't mean in the creepy sense. I just want a centerpiece for the party I want to throw in your honor If you come visit :)

:) I didn't think it was creepy. In fact, that is awesome! And a party? For little ol' me? Awww. Are we talking wine and hors doeuvres or are we talking soda and chips? :D

Also, does this mean I should hit your house later in the trip? So that you'll have actual tacks on the centerpiece by the time I'm there.

Well, there will probably be wine and scotch and ciders, but I think it should be more casual with chips and hotdogs too.

If you hit my house later, I'll have more tacks on the board and you can tell all about your exciting adventures. Or if you come early on, you can explain your exciting destinations and I'll put clear tacks up and replace them with colored ones when you eventually reach them.

Your trip, your choice. Either way sounds fun to me!

Ooh, both sound like such great ideas. Maybe I can hit your place somewhere in the middle, whatever that may be. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. I have to refine my list of stops.

I am so excited about this. April can't come soon enough, and I am praying that my car will want to come with me. It's got so many health problems, but sometimes that's when people really start living. Maybe my car will realize that it needs to have one last big adventure before it passes on. And who knows, maybe it'll last well after the trip too.

Big Bertha, was her name. She had such a wicked personality that my co-workers at the time I had her made her a nametag badge that I stabbed into the steering wheel.

That is awesome!

That would be awesome! I'm not sure how many big, expensive places I can go, but if we were able to hit Disneyland, that'd be great. I'd like to go to Legoland again, but that's, like, $50 a person, which is ridiculous. I hope Disneyland doesn't cost that.

I was thinking, if you truly were able to (and wanted to) come with me for even part of my trip, would it be possible for you to cross over the border and meet me somewhere? You've got a passport and I don't. I suppose I could probably have one by the time I actually want to do this, but I have this feeling I'm going to procrastinate.

Oh, other question: If you are able to go to that New York film school, when would it happen? What month? Do you know?

I could definitely meet you in like Seattle or something, I think it's only 3 hours by bus. :D

And I can only be in the states on my I-20 a month before school starts. So August 4th.

August, huh? Darn. That's later than I wanted to be gone. But I will have you know that I actually am going to make an effort to get my passport. My mom thinks it would be cool if I went to Canada first, before I go anywhere else on my trip. Perhaps I will. Because I wanted to take my road trip either in May or June. And then, who knows, maybe I'll be traveling around so long that I'll STILL be on the road in August and then I can come back and get you! That would be the most awesome thing ever, to be able to just jump around from place to place all over the states and Canada for months. Just being a free spirit. And a freeloader. :P

Oh, I know what you mean! There's always a part of you that isn't quite under the water, and then that part of you gets cold immediately and you have to switch positions. But you can't be switching positions all the time when you're shaving! Way uncool.
