This is just a dream. This is just a dream. This is just a dream.

Ah, sleep. I only marginally reject it now. It brings me dreams ( Read more... )

I remember when I went for awhile without sleep (not as long as you did) during high school. When I finally went to sleep, I had such wacked out, frightening dreams that I could barely get back to sleep. I had to go find my brother and tell him my dreams so he could pat me on the back and tell me it's okay and that it would be okay when I went back to sleep. *shudder*

This from someone who doesn't dream a lot anyway. If those are the dreams I'm having, I'm kinda glad I don't.

Wow, it's like the dreams were born of dilusions. Because I know that if you stay up too long, you start to hallucinate and get pretty loopy. Maybe you weren't quite that bad while awake, but the sleep deprivation certainly translated when you finally did sleep. I guess that would be reason enough to not want to stay up like that again.

Wow - Sucre, death, water, snake - you had some powerful symbols in your dream(s). If only I knew to tell you what they all mean. I'm pretty sure that Sucre represents (sub)conscious desire for sex, though; or at least that's true in my case. :)

Still, very interesting to read about. And I love your cat.

I love dream interpretations, though I wouldn't know what those symbols mean either. It's not something I study, but it's fascinating to page through the books and to listen to people who actually do know a thing or two about it.

As for Sucre showing up, I concur on the sex thing!

Oh, you're a cat lover? I adore cats. I've got four of them. You got any?

I have two, Gina Gershon (black) and Lucy Ferr (orange). :)

Sadly, I'm allergic to animal hair, so they spend half of the time at my sister's place. But after a week or two I start to miss them too much, so I bring them back regardless.

Oh, cool names! I've got Bugsie, Rocki, Ninja, and Rusty. All females, though every single name sounds pretty masculine.

Pet allergies are a damn shame. Isn't there anything you could take to lessen the affects of animal hair? I had a teacher who got regular shots for her cat allergies. But I suppose that's expensive, and I have no idea how often she got them.
