Work hasn't been too bad, actually, for the past couple of weeks. Mostly I've been leaving at 5:30 or 6:00, and I haven't gone in over the weekend since sometime last month. Even so, I know it's coming; we have several filings due at the end of July, and I'll be in L.A. with samaphore all next week, which means that my time for finishing said projects will be much compressed. (I guess I can only blame myself -- y'know, for having the audacity to take a vacation.) In any case, I do know the tribulations of long hours. Just make sure you get a decent meal in there somewhere. That always seems to be my problem when the pressure's on.
I think Conn used an ETC board. I can't remember with certainty, probably because I actually spent very little time on the board. Once they tied a wrench to my belt I was happy to let the board be run by noobs who needed the class credit. qualario? Do you remember better than I

if you weren't stretched so terribly thin right now, i would be making crude comments about you having a hard time saying no. but you're my friend, so i'm gonna take the high road this time.
i hope you understand how difficult this was for me.
Do you think it's ok that K used the word "noobs" in his comment?
:)
It's good to hear what you're up to. I'm trying to figure out what it is you're doing from 9-5 that relates to being certain people eat; a soup kitchen? Meals on wheels? Sounds interesting, and so does all of the behind-the-scenes theater stuff. Very cool!

I get a sense you are part people-pleaser, and part, you just like doing lots o stuff theatre-wise. It really is hard to say no, isn't it?
Don't stretch yourself too thin. The world will still be here in a couple months when things calm down. And so will all of your friends. :)
