My patience has pretty much flown right out the window with a certain someone who shall be known as S.
A few months ago, a friend of mine randomly asked me to make him an avatar for forum use. For whatever reason, I have no idea, since I haven't made any ever and I don't really know where he got the idea that I could make graphics. Regardless, I agreed, and he liked it well enough, so I guess it was pretty good. I decided to practice further, making one for myself, and then asking another friend if I could make him one as well. With the success of those three, I uploaded them onto deviantArt, and immediately after, S comes running to make his own request.
Despite being on each others' friends list, I do not like the guy. He pisses me off with his ignorance, lack of respect and common sense, and pity fishing. So he immediately comes rushing forward with his own icon request, of which I do not want to accept because I had literally just finished making one and I don't want to make one for him. I turned him down, nicely, and all was well.
Skip forward to a month ago when I showed everyone my sketches of two of my friends' characters. They weren't commissions; I just wanted to draw and color them. Of course S would come back and make his own request right after seeing them, and I once again, turned him down. He didn't take that very lightly and seemed to have believed that I was a graphics shop from which he had to get arts from or else, insisting on leaving behind a description of his OC (which was probably the most unoriginal character description I've ever seen) and that it had to be colored to such an extent as my friends' characters, which would take me weeks and would no doubt turn up shitty as ever out of my lack of interest. So I explained in detail why I would not be fulfilling his request and to respect my decisions.
And now today. A friend of mine, D, is very skilled at stippling, aka dot art. The name itself indicates that it is very time consuming on its own, and D had been excitedly showing us his current progress of a recent piece, of which is about 2/5's completed. Enter S, who completely ignores all other things and immediately leaves a request despite the fact that the current piece is incomplete, not caring that D is also attending high school / secondary school and cannot be bothered with requests from a person he does not know very well or get along with.
Here is my current desire to kick the man in the nads for being so gosh-darn inconsiderate and selfish. And stupid, but that's a whole other story.
