Books Passed Before My Eyes

I actually did a lot of reading in 2024...however the majority of it (in terms of time as well as content) was reading the Bible, as part of the Bible-in-a-year program I subscribed to in mid-January 2024- at the general insistence of our pastor. Hopefully having Trump in will scale back some of the bs. It's looking promising.

I hold out hope, but I can't help but wonder if he's going to have to fight an even more intense uphill battle against the "establishment" conservatives, in addition to the left.

During his last term, I read this description: "Trump isn't just fighting the swamp, he's fighting every single snake, frog, and alligator in it."

One major difference between now and then, I expect, is that Trump will no longer "play nice" or even attempt to put on a show of doing so. If he manages to remove or cower enough of his opposition, he could really get a lot of useful things done this term. As you noticed here and there, parts of this country and the rest of the world are already starting to act in "alignment" with Trump's vision and goals, and have been doing so (in some cases) for a few weeks now!
