Was just looking at EBGames to see which of the 5000 awesome/must-buy games are currently available, and I came across a pre-order link for the HD-DVD player for the Xbox. The number of Sony plants in here are ridiculous ( Read more... )

I don't think anyone ever reads those reviews. I personally always like that:

A) People post 5 star reviews on things that haven't been released yet
B) There are apparently only two ratings on ebgames: 5 stars or 1.
C) There is never a need for logic in the reviews, none of them are reviewed. You could post about how matt is a dumbass and it wouldn't get caught. True or...well yeah true. Bad example.
and D) People actually read and believe that shit.

A new content upgrade has been released for XBOX 360 that will enable 1080p support for the console. God damnit, now I'm gonna need a new TV.

Not to mention all the people who actually bought hd-dvd players on their own, and therefore have less than no need for another one.

I still personally think that the pineapple PS3 controller idea is the best. I might consider buying it if it came with fresh fruit...

If I'm honest with myself, I admit that my PS2 sees almost no action. It's entirely because of the stupid reason which is that my TV functions as background noise, and if I had another TV (or picture-in-picture) I actually probably would play more PS2 games... Or multiplayer games. That satisfies the need to hear someone talking as well. Most multiplayer games are FPS, though, which I'd need to practice on liek woah before even venturing online (*cough*Halo 3*cough*)

Although, I've a bit more free time on my hands now, so for all I know I'll fall back into playing more than just PC games again...*shrug* So far nothing's out that I'd play anyway, so I guess we'll see how good the next-gen marketing departments are once the RPGs start dropping ;)
