So there may have been multiple occasions in this story where I actually threw my arms up and yelled...particularly the last lines. OH, BOYS.

BJ can't recall ever being invited to join them, although it's a little middle school of him to think of it that way. It's not like they would've turned him away if he had just shown up, but still.

He's so delightfully belligerent in this story, but then there'll be a line like this, or deleting Lost from the Tivo, or JENNA. He can't help but look down even though it makes him want to die...oh, BJ.

Plus secret gay love in Hollywood is one of my new favorite fic elements, so EXTRA POINTS THERE.

Okay, so I never read RPF (personal preference, no offense intended), but I decided to make a Festscrift exception. Boy am I glad I did. This was really excellent. Wonderful details and you fleshed out a possible (haha - probable?)future so beautifully. BJ pretending he needs to be in rehab, John and Rashida's Not Romance, the new Judd film. It's all gold.

I've never read RPS in this fandom before, but I am so glad I did. It's really excellent.

I IMDBd BJ after the first segment to try to figure out if he was really married/divorced, which was (obviously) not of any help, but it didn't really matter because I was distracted by all the BJ/John which, seriously.

My heart was writhing in anguished recognition. I mean, deleting Lost. It's so petulantly-achieving-adulthood. The whole story is just delightful. Thanks!

Oh, augh! Man, everyday tragedies, right? And BJ deleting Lost episodes and being an inexplicable dick to Rashida even though she taught him to Moonwalk! John's loud and quiet groceries! BJ having been married to Jenna! THE DIVING BOARD!
