Take a Second, Take a Year (Pam/Karen)

Feb 15, 2008 05:20

My awesomely late entry, recovered from a dying computer.

Title: Take a Second, Take a Year
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~4,470
Pairing: Pam/Karen
Prompt: As it turns out, Pam does find her Karen, one sunny afternoon in Central Park.
This precludes most of what happened at the end of season 3.

Ol' Pammy wanted to call Karen right away. )

karen, pam, pam/karen

Oh, I loved this - it was such a good portrayal of Pam, and the progression of her friendship with Karen and how Pam felt about things was just perfect.

She was almost used to the concept by now-that if you wanted something, you could ask for it instead of silently staring at the back of its neck.

Oh, LOVE.

Oh man, this is GREAT. I love how you dealt with the Jim thing for Karen and Pam to become friends again, and how slow and gentle it is, and how they just vaguely start figuring out how they really feel. And Pam's mom! And Pam being all grown-up and awesome! I AM SO GLAD YOU WROTE THIS.

Oh, PAMELA!! And Karen and growing up and being awesome and then being friends which is one of my favorite things EVER, and slowly figuring their feelings out. Gah, it's all so so great.

Aww, awesome KaPam fic!

I love the lines There was no -plode of any sort for them; they just kind of petered out. and the Karen-shaped hole in her time was obvious.

Great job! You should really consider posting this over at officegirlslash. We'd love to have you!
