[Bass was slouched beside the door so he wouldn't have to get up, and he opens it for Thom to squeeze inside before slamming it shut again and locking it. He sinks to the ground to sit wearily and points to the ground next to his leg.]

[Thom is all perky ears and wagging tail and it doesn't even occur to him that it might not be a good thing to be locked in here with Bass, even if he was aware of the robot's reputation. He instantly sits where Bass points.]
