You're doing it right. When I first moved down I didn't know anybody at all. Really. That was a fucking nightmare, especially considering that Sydney is like a mean version of Melbourne where everybody hates you no matter what.

Thanks Scott. We're lucky we've got people here, and luckier still that they're people who've been there and done it already so we have support and sympathy when we need it, and a pep talk on occasion too.

Being included in tightly into social circle is very important. It's what Mel did for me when I went to Leeds. And as you know I made loads of friends.

Glad you found the time, energy and space for cycling. There's just not enough open space near here to get back into it.
