this article is damn well written.
as a huge fan of wes anderson, i can't wait to watch his movies again with a more critical and less forgiving eye.  mind you i haven't seen the 'darjeeling limited' yet. now i am a little more committed to doing so. :)

Hm, I didn't finish the article but the first half was interesting (kind of long-winded, though).

I really can see what they mean about Anderson's way of making his white protagonists treat POC like therapy, or even furniture, sometimes.

Also, I really liked the term leisure-class malaise.
