I'm also bummed. "Kimo" was a great guy. I met him at HeroesCon a few years ago. He was wearing his trademark black hat, and sporting his Vultan the Hawkman-esque beard. I was sitting across the aisle from Kimo, and I'd just purchased a Summertime Cthulhu plush toy for my wife. I pestered Kimo all weekend by making the Cthulhu plush figure dance atop my table. Every time Bruce looked up from his table, he'd chuckle at my silly behavior. He had a great sense of humor.

I'll miss you, man.
