I don't understand it. Why would you be upset over someone's death if they come back the next day? If it's a small place and the murderer can be found with relative ease? If it's someone with malicious intent, and not someone able to do what they want, cowardly hiding behind the façade of a war? Here they can hide only behind stone, not behind laws ( Read more... )

It's not the death so much as, well. Wouldn't you be pissed off if someone you cared about was attacked? And finding the body...

"A lady's work...?" I could take a look at it for you. No guarantees, though.

As long as they came back to me, how much would it matter? There's no need for grief. I'm not saying we should leave murderers walk around freely, but a little rationality would be in place.

That would be a great help. I don't think the mechanism is too complicated, but...

I'm in the Latimir appartments, room 107.

You're more level-headed than most of us here. People tend to get caught up in their emotions, even when they should know better. I stopped expecting anything better from this place a while ago.

I'll be there in a bit.

If they hadn't had any difficulties in life before, I could understand it, but that doesn't even seem to be the case.

Thank you.

Death is death, it's no picnic even if the victim do come back.

For the victims themselves, it's unpleasant. The others have no physical discomfort to worry about.

Physical no, but emotional. You can't turn off grief just because the hospital here has a return policy.

I don't understand why not.

They still die, even if they do come back.

Their body physically dies, yes. But what loss do the ones close to them have to bear except for a day without them? One day? Knowing, being sure, that they'll come back?

Even if they come back is it not something traumatizing to most? A lot of people aren't quite used to seeing death nor are they used to the idea of them coming back so they act as if it is the end.

Still, I must agree to how odd it is that they aren't found as easily as they could be.

...On another note. You said you had a broken leg?

Is this honestly the place to let yourself get carried away by emotions? I understand not being used to dealing with deaths, but really.

No, I said I had a broken leg brace. My left leg is paralysed; the brace helps me walk.

It may not be the place but emotions can't be controlled at times. It may be harder due to the fact their confused and unfamiliar with a lot of what's going on or the fact that they're already upset with how this place is. Once they get used to it, things should get a bit better...perhaps.

Ah, forgive me for my misunderstanding there, but I could take a look at it if you like. I'm more of a surgeon but a leg brace surely can't be that hard.

Snivelling won't help anyone. I wouldn't care, but it's all I read about. That, or things about Valentine's day.

I should hope not. It would be a great help. Seeing as I'm currently as good as immoble, could you pass by Latimir 107?
