Rivalen had come to a solemn decision. It was his duty to protect his mother - whatever that entailed. Father was not here to protect Mama and so he, Rivalen Lestrange, would do it instead. The young boy pushed the door to his Mama's bedroom open and walked up to where it lurked. He would be strong. He would be brave. And it was thus, that Rosalind found her son, standing in front of the open closet door. A large metal strainer perched on his head and a spatula in his left hand, he was ready to face the boogeyman.

Grey eyes filled with tears as they looked up and implored of their Mama. Surely she would not deny them this one little favor? It was tiny, to be sure, and Papa would most certainly not notice. They blinked unhappily up at their Mama until she scolded them for looking like puppy dogs. Briallen and Rosalie pleaded in earnest, but the answer remained the same. Finally, they threw themselves on their mother's lap and sweetly threatened to tell Papa of Grandpere's visit last year. Rosalind tossed her book aside and relented, lowering their necklines half an inch.

Master had finally come home! Till bustled quickly into her master's bedroom, for Master Rashnu was in the parlor, wanting to see his son. However, when she entered, she saw Mistress Rosalind leaning over her Master in bed, caressing his face and muttering the sweetest nothings. She kissed him repeatedly and it was almost painful for Till to watch the naked love on her Mistress' face. Her Master responded a low voice, gentle as she had never heard before. She Disapparated quietly, making sure not to disturb them. She walked slowly back to the parlor. The old codger could wait.
