Author's Notes: Just for everyone who doesn't know (since this word was new to me as well) a zenana is a harem, or a part of the house that all the women live in. I think it is also relevant to state that it's been a few months for Helena but three years for Albus since Hogwarts.
Albus stood outside, stomping his feet in an effort to keep warm. He had only been standing outside for a minute, but it felt like he was frozen down to his toes. He pressed Rose's doorbell again and shivered. There was a small pop from the alley. He recognized the sound and turned to look. He saw the Quidditch Player that Lily was dating. He gave Aidan a small nod. Aidan smiled at him nervously. Albus had casually implied in their first conversation that he would break all his bones if Aidan even so much as thought of something that could hurt Lily. James had told Aidan the same thing except more explicitly and with concrete examples.
Albus decided to lean on the doorbell.
The door swung open. "I'm coming!" Hugo screamed in his face before letting him pass.
Albus and Aidan rushed inside to warm themselves. Albus rubbed his frozen face with his frozen hands. Aidan dropped onto the couch. "What took you so long?" Albus asked once his tongue thawed out. "What the hell are you wearing?"
"It's called an apron," Hugo muttered. "I'm down to my last set of sweaters and I have to keep this one clean." Hugo walked down the foot of the stairs and looked up. "LILY! Boyfriend! Helena! ALBUS!"
"Coming!" came Lily's voice.
Albus fought the urge to laugh. "This place has turned into a real women's dormitory," he observed.
"You keep quiet," Hugo placed his hands on his hips and watched as Lily bounded down the stairs. "Lily Luna Potter, you be home by midnight or so help me I will lock you out."
"You're not the boss of me," Lily pouted.
"I will still lock you out."
"Albus?" came Helena's voice from the top of the steps. Albus looked up and stepped backwards. Helena was wearing a peach camisole and shorts - in the truest sense of the word.
"That's enough to thaw anyone out," Aidan muttered beside him.
"Why are you looking?" Albus snapped. "You are not allowed to look. Scoot."
Aidan shrugged and grinned as he took Lily's hand. Lily punched him on the shoulder on the way out.
"I wasn't looking!" was the last thing they heard before the door closed behind them.
"Where's Rose?" Albus asked Hugo, who was standing at the bottom of the steps like some sentinel.
"Out with Scorpius," he answered.
"Ah. And Roxanne?"
"Out."
"So...the house is practically empty?"
"Yes, except Helena and myself."
"What do I need to pay you to get you out?"
Hugo raised an eyebrow. "I've got lesson plans to work on."
"Hugo," Albus crossed his arms.
"Albus."
They were interrupted by the sounds of Helena's footsteps down the stairs. She was wearing the dark blue sweater that Grandma Molly had given her and the same pair of shorts. She practically tackled Albus.
"It's been a week!" she declared angrily.
"I'm sorry," he answered, giving her a quick kiss.
"I'll be in the kitchen," Hugo muttered. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he gave Helena a small smile.
Helena laughed as she led Albus up the stairs.
"How are you adjusting?" Albus asked as he followed Helena into her bedroom.
"It's been amusing sharing a room with Roxanne. I like living with so many people. Hugo and Rose take very good care of me."
"That's good," Albus said, grabbing her from behind. "You know, I'll take good care of you, too," he whispered in her ear before trailing kisses down her neck.
Helena bit her lower lip and sighed. "I know you will."
He released her and she dropped onto her bed, sitting at the edge. Albus walked up and pressed against her, making her lie down on the soft mattress. He pinned her arms by the side of head and kissed her. "Move in with me," he whispered.
"Yes," she agreed. "Yes, yes."
"I love you, Helena. I'll take care of you. And when you're ready--" she stopped him with a kiss.
"I love you, too, Albus," she wrapped her arms around his neck when he released them. Silently, they moved up the bed, stopping once Helena's head lay on a pink pillow. Albus pulled the sweater over her head gently and she let him. It had been years since he had done this with her -- with anyone, for that matter. He suddenly felt out of practice. As if sensing his apprehension, she laughed gently and helped him divest of his own clothing.
She had to gasp when he slid into her. He was perfect. It just felt right. He moved slowly, kissing her as he did so.
The door opened. There was a scream. The door slammed shut.
"MERLIN'S DIRTY PANTS! I DID NOT NEED TO SEE THAT!" came Roxanne's voice from the other side of the door. "HUGO! YOU SAID NO MEN IN THE BEDROOMS!"
