I feel the need to say it:

I'm not particularly amused by all the jokes and puns about Michael Jackson's life and it's just disrespectful. He was acquitted, which means the law has deemed him innocent, and the law is not just to be respected when we feel it's convenient.

Furthermore, let a man finally have some peace.

this is EXACTLY how i feel about the situation.
i mean, you can't deny the fact that the man had the greatest selling album. that he was a generational icon...the king of pop. he made damn good music.
my mom likened it to elvis presley dying. like you had the younger elvis, and the older elvis. i think the situation is similar here.
in any case, i am sad, and i hope he's finally found some contentment.
