((This dream is filtered to Heat's two enemies and all of his closest comrades. This includes Bat and Minatsuki, all the members of the Embryon plus Roland and Sera, and Kamina if Laena so chooses. Sorry, guys, but I'm not interested in a widespread panic about this at the moment, and I'm sure you'll all be caught unawares. This is just to wrap up

HEAT.

[Yeah. Fuck. Roland is about half-dressed and up and pretty much ready to risk his life trying to stop him from doing something bad. Hopefully, the others are up too...]

[She's not surprised.

She just wonders why this had not happened sooner. Why he'd waited to say something or do something or dream something. To indicate what she knew was there: that he was alive and that he'd want her head. There was no way that he wouldn't be out for her blood.

Maybe he knew that the waiting was worse. He'd seen into her in those last few moments before his death. She can't think of anything to say or think or do. Whatever tension she has been feeling in these past few weeks is numbed away by a feeling of readiness.

After watching the dream and Heat's reaction, she finds herself checking the tracking device.

It's moving fast.

She hangs up without a word.]

[At the sounds from his dreamberry, Bat stirs from where he'd been sleeping. Still blind, it takes him a few moments to realize the sounds are coming from his phone. That's Heat. He'd recognize the bastard's growls anywhere. Was that a dream? It sounded as though he was feeding - not a surprising dream.

He doesn't bother to make any comment, especially as he's laying low and sharing his weakness with the Embryon is not something he wants.

Still, that wasn't a very promising sound. ...Where was Minatsuki?]

*Gale is certainly up--the feed from his Dreamberry woke him up, with all the noise. Seeing Heat act like that...well...*

Heat! *already scrambling, up on his feet and moving out into the hallway, away from the Embryon's communal sleeping area and into the next room. This was a volatile situation. If this condition is what he thinks it is, then it was best to just stay calm and make no sudden movements whatsoever.*

...Heat. Control yourself.

[DEVOUR.

Normally, Heat slips smoothly into Agni's form, embracing the largeness and power of his demon. He rarely struggles, even when given extreme hunger. Agni's is a body he enjoys. But this time, Heat is visibly struggling against his pain, his knuckles clenched white, head bent. This transformation is unusual, one he hasn't been able to initiate in well over a week.

TEAR. CONSUME.

It's clear when Gale enters that Heat isn't going to truly hear any of it. He makes a garbled growling sound. Perhaps it could have been interpreted as "I'll KILL you for getting in the way, idiot!" ... but it was a stretch.

FIND EAT KILL

Heat raises his fist and slams it into the floor, the walls shaking. Agni emerges in a ripple emanating from Heat's center, snarling with hunger.]

*backs up away from Agni a good distance, glancing quickly down the hallway to make sure the others weren't in the way. He had to find Sera, and quickly.

Still backing up, he quickly pulls out his own Dreamberry and tries contacting Sera. If her song can calm Heat...but that will take time, won't it.*

[Time that neither Gale nor Heat have.

Agni snaps a warning at Gale, who through the fog he barely recognizes as a comrade... for now. Then, with saliva dripping from his throat, he swings around and shatters a window with his fist. He leaps out of base and to the ground with a loud, earth-shaking thump.

The hunt was on.

He headed for Minatsuki's greenhouse.]
