OOC: Dream I

It was completely dark, but somehow he had a feeling he should be cautious and aware of his surroundings. He couldn’t see anything, but he felt like he had been here before. He knew he was in a room, but he didn’t know what type. He didn’t know what to do, so he began walking. Eventually his footsteps weren’t the only sound in the room. His head turned towards the sound, and it was getting louder every few seconds.

Then he saw these red eyes, but they weren’t human eyes. He knew what the creature in front of him was, but he didn’t know why he knew. His eyes were locked on the creature, and he could hear a heavy panting coming from it.

“Bow!” His eyes widened when he heard the sound, a warm breath suddenly against his ear. “Won’t you bark for me?” He was frozen, and soon he heard laughter. He knew this laugh, and something inside him was growing. His hand went to his pocket, searching for something, but there was nothing there, and soon the laughter had faded.

“Shit,” He cursed, teeth clenching. He didn’t know what the hell was going on, but every second that passed, something inside him was building. He knew whatever was building inside him was bad.

The creature from before was circling him now, like he was prey, like a hound upon a hare. “What are you going to do, dog?” He was taken aback by knowing what the creature was. “Where is your master?” He was annoyed by this all, especially since he was actually half expecting answers from this ‘dog’.

Suddenly the dog started charging, running towards him. Then there was that same voice from before, but this time it was much more malicious and taunting. “Let’s drag out the black dog inside of you!” He now saw the rough outline of the dog. It was lunging towards him, but he couldn’t move his body at all. He was waiting for the impact, but then suddenly the room was no longer dark.

The dog never touched him, and was nowhere to be seen. He looked around, and it didn’t take him long to run into other humans…at least he thought they were humans. They had strange collars on their necks and wore hospital like gowns. He watched them awkwardly stand and play in the room, and it seemed like none of them noticed his presence.

The smell of smoke and ash filled his nostrils suddenly. “So this is the kindergarten from hell, right?” Smoke was blown into his face, but for some weird reason he felt used to it. “Figures.”

“What are you talking about, Eyepatch?” He didn’t even know why he said such name, or even called out to the man.

“Don’t call me that, Zombie Bastard.” He turned around, but nothing was there.

“Did you just wake up now?” He turned back around and saw a little girl. She was blonde and something about her made him comfortable.

He gave a slow nod. “Ah, what’s that on your neck?” He pointed to the prominent metal collar around the girl’s neck.

“Eh?” She soon started laughing, point at him. “You’re silly! You got one too!” His eyes widened, feeling his neck. He did have one, and that odd sensation he felt before was building up once again.

“Hey, Master,” He blinked, and all the children were gone, including the girl he spoke to before. He was trying to figure out where this new voice was coming from. “Come on, I went to all this trouble to see you.” There was a person in front of him, himself to be exact. “It’s been that way for a long time.” Then the stranger’s eyes opened, and he knew where he saw those eyes before. Those were the eyes from the dog he saw before.

Then he saw the former dog, now turned man, pull out a gun and aimed it straight at his chest.

“Call my name, Master.”
