I really liked the episode! I don't think it QUITE fit with how they ended before the hiatus [I really kind of wanted to see more of the post-showdown blues] but aside from that I enjoyed it. It was really a classic SPN episode-- Sam and Dean, fighting a Monster of the Week, being funny and sad and crazy all at the same time.
As much as I enjoy the Apocolypse arc and Castiel, I always adore the Total Brothers eps XD
Good news too! They confirmed SPN for a Sixth season! WOOT!
Yeeeah....Kripke was pretty adamant about the show only lasting 5 seasons. He kept repeating that over and over probably so that he could have an excuse is the show wasn't picked up again. But THEN he started getting all 'oooh, if there's more story to tell I'll so totally tell it. Seriously, you guys' when it gained popularity *rolls eyes*

My mom watched the first two seasons with me on DVD [mostly because I watched those seasons like 4 times each. Eesh]. And she still watches it..but she flips between that and something else. And I usually end up watching it at a friend's place. Free HD channels! Yay!
