I listed some pieces on etsy.com. I figure I'll use etsy as a kind of home base for now and work on branching out into other areas/forums (which I am currently clueless on). Anyway, here's the link to my etsy shop. I retook proper pictures in proper lighting, so they look a lot better. I also put up some stuff that I hadn't put up on picassa, so there's new stuff there too. Here's the link:

itachimusume mentioned putting up a tutorial on
whipup.net, which is an interesting idea. It's also extremely daunting. I've been reading their
criteria on submitting a piece, and I'm not sure if I qualify. Not that I'm don't believe in my writing abilities, but the bit about having a good blog, etc...I hardly think this lj qualifies. However, they do mention that they are looking for jewelry and jewelry-making articles, so there's certainly a chance. I don't have any wordpress experience, but I have a pretty good handle on basic html. That being said, I get the feeling that I would have to contribute semi-regularly, which of course, I am far too lazy to really do. Ah the dilemma. In any case, the tutorial idea got me thinking. Jewelry-making wouldn't be particularly interesting, as there isn't much complex going on. It's all about imagination, not so much technique. I could prolly write something about knotting, take some nice step-by-step pics...but you can find those on the interwebs too, if you look. Of course, most of them are pretty stale, style-wise, so if I can make it look young and trendy enough, I've prolly got a shot. I'm also checking out
craftzine. Their blog is full of neat stuff, including tutorials and you can suggest sites to them, so if I end up writing some kind of tutorial or doing something awesome, I will prolly attempt to get them to blog about it. There are a couple of other uber-crafty sites but all in all they're a little out of my league. I need to find some places that are a little more low-key.
As the title suggests, ever since I set up my etsy shop, I've been knitting. Currently I'm working on a hat that's more of an experiment than anything else. The trim seems to have worked out more or less as I had hoped, but it still needs work. Once I get far enough along that you might be able to make heads or tails of it, I'll post some pics. I'm playing with the numbers and I think I know how to fix it for the next one... Spring scarf #2 is still underway, and if I'm lucky maybe I'll finish it before summer. Heh. I hope to felt my sakura scarf tonight and sew the flowers on tomorrow. So far, it's still the (almost) finished product I'm most proud of, though J seems to like his beanie very much. J might be inviting the sae guys (namely Neel, Billy, Jimmy, and Anthony) over for beer and Gran Tourismo, if that happens I'll prolly get a decent amount of knitting done.
Oh, we've been watching Initial D. I'm starting to get over the fact that I still don't like the art. I've decided that Initial D is basically Prince of Tennis with cars. That means, I already know everything that will happen in the series (and could predict half of it while watching) because I have watched far too much POT.
