Hello, I am person with my own thoughts and opinions. Just because those thoughts don't intersect with yours doesn't mean you need to be a dick about it. We can still talk civilly and be nice to each other, and instead of focusing on the issues that people go to war about (i.e. religion, politics, socio-economic diversity and racism) we can talk about other things, like puppy dogs and which cartoon character is your favorite.
So to come at me in an aggressive manner simply because I don't give a shit about your current pop-social issue is not only incredibly rude, but it wrecks the mood between us, possible forever.
