Getting Steamed
Thank you Catherine Grace!!! I don't think she reads my blog or is even friended to me, but I've been trying to come up with outfit ideas for the dolls that are steampunk and my google search took me to the pics of her two little ones. New Bodice!!! And its gonna have Monkeys!!!
Last night Mom needed to run down to Hancock fabrics because many times they have stuff that JoAnns doesn't and we took a short road trip down there. She was right she found some really cool pirate sayings fabric as well as POW and police tape fabric to make stuff out of for the business. She also picked up some CW printed fabric. I got out of work at 5 on the dot yesterday and fought rush hour to get to the Barnes & Nobles in Ellicott City. Yikes! Traffic sucked rocks and that was with a little demon in my car. Da Simi is so Cute!!!
I haven't made her hornies or her backpack and she's borrowing Abby's shoes for tomorrow night, since her red and black buckle boots haven't come in yet, but she now has clothes that are perfect for da Simi. A new doll!!!
The other day, mom surprised me with a TollyTot doll. She's going to be my Simi. Here's a pic I found online of her but I haven't taken a pic of mine with her hair in good condition so you can't really see that her hair is black with cool red streaks in and two front side ponytales. ( The pic of the one from online is behind the cut ) -
Dressed super girly today.
So far I haven't tripped or fallen flat on my face YET! Wearing my cream lace top that has an empire waist, a long flowy black skirt with a cream pattern on it and beadwork that goes to mid calf, and a pair of 3" black and cream heels. Tired and not in a good way
I've been pretty tired lately, partly because of my iron levels are down. I've started taking supplements but they aren't agreeing with me. The weather has been making life interesting as to how my knees have been feeling as well. Otherwise I'm surviving. Saturday I went to the Stepping Stone demo for the SCA with Andrea and Amy.
