Clementine came to haunt me on the way to the Orleans last Thursday, so I knew I'd be in a good zone... Omaha Hi-Lo tourney, top 10 players split the dough, 5.5 hours of work, earned back my buy-ins from the previous two nights' lost Hold Em tourneys, plus a bit on top.
Last time I was in Vegas was 9 years ago, when I'd eloped gotten married, opting for the 'young Elvis' to be the witness & walk the broad down the aisle.
This trip was much different.
Equally bittersweet.
Surreal & at times plain weird.
Currently swimming in disappointment
