• What are the most common issues editors face when listing?
This is a list of issues, errors and questions that crop up in our comments.
• What types of posts do you restrict?
We do not link to comments.
• How do I get my work listed?
Our listing policies are currently undergoing revisions! Please be patient while we work everything out.
To get your work listed, here are the guidelines that help us the most:
We're currently in policy revisions so we can include more work, but rating on fanfic is non-negotiable, no matter the length of the fic. From drabble to epic, a rating that we can easily convert to the rating system we've chosen is required and your fic will not be listed without it.
An example header for fanfiction and fanart might look something like this:
Title: The SOLDIER Who Wanted a Friend
Fandom/Canon: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Characters/Pairings: Cloud/Zack, Sephiroth
Rating: K+/PG
For icons, something similar to this might be used:
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (8)
Final Fantasy IX (16)
Final Fantasy Versus XIII (5)
Total (29)
Or:
20 icons: FFVII:AC (10), FFX (6), FFXII:OGC (4)
• What if you skip my work?
A new issue of ff_press is released every day-if your work has been skipped, we can easily include you in a following issue! We may ask you questions to be sure we're listing you in the right place and we appreciate your feedback and patience. If you are confused about what your work is missing and we consistently fail to include you, ask! We are always willing to help.
• What if my story/art/etc was listed and it's wrong, or I want something removed?
Comment on the issue and ask for the changes and we'll take care of it. :)
• I don't want my fanwork listed on the newsletter at all. What do I do?
If you do not want to be listed at all, you must put "newsletters: do not link" or "ff_press: do not link" at the top of your entry. Fandom is too big for us to remember everyone's personal preferences. :)
• My work is archived incorrectly on delicious!
Send an e-mail to ff.press@gmail.com with the URL and the error you believe it has. We'll change it as soon as possible!

- Multiple pieces of fanwork per entry. When there are multiple stories or art per entry, it is helpful for each of them to be described individually. Cut tags are also a big help. It is hard to include these pieces in our archive when they do not have cut tags.

- Fanart: Fandom, characters and/or pairings and a rating.
- Icons Fandom and a total (we do not count up icons, you must provide a count).
