Notes: Unfortunately only vaguely connected to the theme, but hey!
"She's so beautiful," Brother said in Al Bhed, sighing to himself. The sigh sounded exactly as he imagined a lovesick sigh should sound. His eyes were most definitely not on where he was going. They weren't even on any part of the sky. They were firmly fixed on Yunie -- and, Rikku noticed, on a certain part of Yunie's anatomy. She reached over and tweaked Brother's ear.
"Pay attention to where we're going," she said, quite firmly. "And pay a little less attention to Yunie's boobs!"
"Rikku!"
She had to laugh. His voice had squeaked -- just like it had back when it was still breaking -- and he was blushing. "What? It's not like you can pretend you weren't looking. Keep your eyes on the road, buster, or I'll tell Pops."
Reluctantly, Brother did as she said. After a few minutes of more or less companionable silence -- which simply meant they hadn't found anything to bicker about yet -- he glanced up at Rikku again. "How do you think I could get her to like me?"
"Hmmm." She grinned, putting her head on one side and pretending to think very deeply. "That's a tough one!"
"Rikku," he said, trying to go for threatening. She was notably unimpressed.
"Um, well, lessee," she said, because he did have puppy-dog eyes down to an art. "Give her plenty of strawberries and other presents, and learn to speak her language, and... tell her you come from Zanarkand and, wellllll... try to look as much like Tidus as possible."
"You think I've got no chance, then?" Brother asked. He looked crestfallen.
She considered it again. "Pretty much."
He sighed, again. She reached across and tweaked his ear again, which made him glare at her. She stuck her tongue out and scampered off to join Yuna.
